Not long ago, we told you about the rumors of KTM–amidst its financial crisis–selling MV Agusta back to its original owners. Soon after, an official announcement was made, which confirmed the change of ownership for the Varese brand. Fast forward to now, the Italian company has just given us an update on how MV Agusta is planning to level up its game in the future.

A New MV Agusta Motorcycle Is Coming In The Next Few Months

Starting with what most of us will appreciate, MV Agusta has confirmed its plan to debut a new motorcycle soon. Development is in the final stages, with the expected debut date at the 2025 EICMA. What is it? Well, there’s no word on that. But the company does claim the new machine will feature just 1 percent carry-over parts from the previous generation model.

Our guess is that it’s an updated middleweight platform. After all, the 798cc, triple-cylinder lineup hasn’t had a sizable update in several years, and these are the most accessible MVs today. Along with this, MV has an all-new engine platform coming our way at the EICMA as well.

Increased Warranty And Improved Dealer Network Will Make Life Easier For New Owners

Being an exotic brand, MV Agusta’s dealer network and after-sales have always been questioned. So the bikemaker is now trying to make amends. There’s a new five-year factory warranty in place for its current bikes, including the Ottantesimo Collection models, the F3 Competizione, and the full LXP and Enduro Veloce lineup. This doesn’t apply to models from before 2024 and nor to the flagship Superveloce 1000, though.

As for the dealership network, MV Agusta claims there’s a significant expansion in place. Key markets in Europe, America, Oceania, and Asia will have independent offices, with several private importers already onboard. There’s also a new agreement with “a leading global logistics partner” to improve spare parts availability, warehousing, and last-mile deliveries. All of these are big, bold claims, which could do wonders for MV. If they all go through as planned, of course.

Luca Martin, Executive Director of MV Agusta Motor, says:

“What we’re accomplishing at MV Agusta nowadays is truly special. Considering the challenges we’ve faced since the early days of KTM’s financial difficulties, the progress made in such a short time speaks volumes about the strength and dedication of our people. Across every area—operations, design, production, and many more areas —we’ve seen a remarkable response. From Schiranna to every part of our worldwide network, the team has embraced this new chapter with determination, passion, and a deep sense of responsibility. I’m proud of how far we’ve come—together—and even more motivated by the road ahead. MV Agusta is not only reaffirming its independence; it’s laying the foundation for a new era built on excellence and authenticity.”
