Mercedes-Benz, in partnership with Google Cloud, announced a new slew of “conversational capabilities” being brought to MBUX’s virtual assistant. MBUX, in case you’re out of the loop, is the name Mercedes-Benz elected to use for its infotainment systems. The changes are built using Gemini on Vertex AI, and Mercedes says the new functionality is “tailored for the automotive industry.”
