Electric motorcycles have evolved rapidly in the last decade. Its greatest disadvantages of lackluster riding range and long charging times are finally being eradicated, and Verge Motorcycles is an electric bike maker that has just taken the crown. The brand already introduced clever technology to tap into the vast Tesla charging network and elevate practicality. But a recent Guinness World Record Run just put an end to all charging anxiety and endurance concerns regarding the radical Verge TS.

The 2025 Verge TS Pro Was Ridden For 16 Hours Straight

Total Distance Covered Non-Stop: 193 Miles

Verge Motorcycles has broken the world record for the longest journey by an electric motorcycle on a single charge. The peeps from Verge Motorcycles Finland embarked on this mission in London on March 22nd, 2025. At the saddle of the world-record-breaking Verge TS Pro electric bike were Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman, both well-known influencers in the EV industry.

The electric bike was ridden through suburban London. The route replicated a real-life scenario, including congestion, traffic stops, and pedestrian crossings. So, this electric bike enjoyed no special privileges. Even the charging port was sealed shut. The Verge TS Pro banked the world record after covering an impressive 193.053 miles over 16 hours on a single charge. Here’s what Verge Motorcycles CMO Lauri Laukkanen has to say about the run.

This world record is an amazingly proud moment for the entire Verge team. We have been developing the efficiency, driveability, and features of our motorbikes for years, and we wanted to show the world that anything is possible. This record is a concrete demonstration of what our unique technology and proprietary architecture are actually capable of. For us, this is first and foremost a symbol of setting bold goals, reinforcing trust, and being able to show the reliability and performance capabilities of our solutions in a concrete way. It is good to shift into even higher gear from here and head towards new opportunities for putting our bikes to the test.

There Was Still Some Juice Left After The World Record Run

The EV Could Have Done 200 Miles!

The impressive part about this world-record-running electric bike was that it still had a charge left after the strenuous run. The Verge TS Pro had about seven percent juice remaining after the 193-mile run. Laukkanen explained that the team decided not to go further to ensure the reliability of the data recorded. But we think that if they did push forward, 200 miles was an easy number to achieve. EVs usually keep some charge in reserve to enter a ‘limp’ mode once the usual performance runs out.

The World Record Run Electric Bike Was Stock

Power: 136 HP

The fact that the Verge TS Pro electric bike used in this world-record run was completely stock makes it more relatable for potential customers like us. Apart from a dedicated team of professionals monitoring and recording the whole run, there was no other “special” aspect to this electric bike’s journey. You should also know the TS Pro is the most affordable model in the Verge electric motorcycle lineup.

Its unique motor design and placement not only look cool but also free up space in the “standard” area for a bigger battery that is also positioned for a lower center of gravity. This should elevate its driving dynamics. Also, because of the direct performance delivery of the motor to the wheel, the Verge TS Pro is capable of producing a whopping 737.5 pound-feet of torque. If the “base” TS Pro could pull off this world-record stint, imagine what the more powerful and longer-range Verge TS Ultra can do!
