Fiat wouldn’t be Fiat if it didn’t put the emphasis on style and fashion, which is why its LA Auto Show debut isn’t a new model per se, but rather a special edition of the all-electric Fiat 500e dressed up in Giorgio Armani running gear.

While this may seem like a highly superficial trim level for a very niche-market car, it proves once more that only Fiat can pull this off and how the Italian carmaker knows exactly who the 500e’s target buyer is. Here’s the full rundown of what to expect from this new addition to the 500e lineup.

Giorgio Armani Edition Aims To Be The Finest Expression In Italian Design

In its press release, Fiat underlined the fact that LA is the best possible city in which to release a vehicle such as this, since it sees it as “a global leader and trendsetter in electric vehicles and fashion”. With this vehicle, Fiat also wants to embody Italian design by combining one of Italy’s most iconic vehicles – the Fiat 500 – with Armani, an icon in Italian fashion. It’s the brainchild of Fiat’s Centro Stile design studio in Turin, Italy, where the 500e is built. From Aamir Ahmed, head of the Fiat brand in North America:

The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition represents the finest expression of Italian design, bringing together two legendary icons in the Fiat Cinquecento and Giorgio Armani. Featuring Armani’s unparalleled design influence, including two bespoke color combinations and high-end touches befitting an Armani fashion collection, not to mention the artistry instilled by the FIAT Centro Stile design team, the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition epitomizes the exceptionality of Italian design and craftsmanship.

The Armani edition is nothing more than a design package that’s mostly characterized by two exclusive colors designed by Armani: Green and Greige, a blend between gray and beige. There’s also a set of distinct 17-inch wheels, whose design mimics the Armani logo. The wheels were custom-made, featuring a burnished two-tone anodized finish. They look pretty rad.

Unique, Custom-Tailored Interior

But where the Armani Edition truly sets itself apart from the regular 500e is how its interior was custom-designed to truly reflect Italian fashion. Inspired by Armani/Casa and the fashion collection, the seats feature Chevron stitching and three-dimensional patterns to evoke traditional tailoring techniques. Front headrests were also adorned with the Giorgio Armani logo.

Cabin materials mimic artisanal methods, with a dark, warm look and feel and soft-touch fabrics. A woodgrain dashboard adds to the premium look. Armani’s signature is displayed on the dashboard, interior door panels and rear window.

From a mechanical standpoint, this is the same front-wheel drive electric 500e we already know, powered by a 42-kWh battery pumping out 117 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Range is rated by the carmaker at 149 miles. In its press release, Fiat didn’t say just how limited this Limited Edition will be, nor how many examples will be produced.

There’s also no pricing yet, but the carmaker underlines the fact that the Armani Edition is based on the most equipped version of the 500e, featuring a seven-speaker JBL sound system that offers up to four virtual venues that were hand-selected by Italian Maestro Andrea Bocelli. The 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Edition will certainly attract interest from Fiat 500 collectors looking for a bespoke version coming straight from the carmaker.
