We’ve all scratched our heads about LiveWire’s financial reports at some point. But that hasn’t stopped the bikemaker from keeping the innovation going. While we’ve seen back-to-back full-sized electric motorcycles the past couple of years, the EV brand has now whipped up two electric mini bikes for the US. These look super fun, thanks to impressive early details revealed by LiveWire. Let’s dive in.

LiveWire’s New Electric Mini Bikes Come In Street And Trail Variants

Although not listed on the official site, the announcement of these mini bikes comes straight from Harley-Davidson’s Homecoming festival. Pre-production versions of the mini bikes were kept on display there. Both of these are said to have slightly different purposes. There’s a street version with road-biased rubber and a neo-retro design, where the former looks awfully identical to the Honda Monkey.

The round headlight, flat seat, and exposed tubular chassis deserve the credit for that. Another version goes in the MX bike direction. It has tall fenders, knobby tires, fork protectors, and a different handlebar. The chassis, seat, swingarm, and 12-inch wheels appear the same as the street version, though.

Diving deeper, there’s no shortage of quality bits on both mini motos. The cockpit hides a digital instrument cluster, whereas the tail has a Harley-Davidson Pan America-inspired LED tail lamp (on the street version). This is topped with USD forks, monoshock, and Kymco-branded front calipers. Steel braided lines and Mitas tires front and rear round off the package.

The LiveWire Mini Bikes Can Reach 30 MPH In Three Seconds

Coming to the performance, the official details are obviously under wraps. However, LiveWire has given us a taste of what’s to come. It claims a top speed of about 53 miles per hour, with a 0 to 30 miles per hour sprint time of just three seconds. We also know the batteries are removable on both, while offering 100 miles of maximum claimed range. It’s worth noting the real-world numbers will vary quite a bit. For example, the max range for the Del Mar in the city is 113 miles. But it drops fast to well under 90 once the pace picks up.

There’s No Word On The Launch Timeline As Of Now

Like what you see? We do, too. However, LiveWire hasn’t revealed an exact timeline for its latest creations. These look close to completion, though, so we could get them as part of the company’s 2026 lineup. Another thing we don’t know is the price bracket LiveWire’s aiming for. Although its full-size bikes are decently priced by EV standards, they still don’t qualify as affordable by ICE standards. We hope that’s not the case for the mini bikes. In case you’re curious, an ICE mini bike sells for $4,000.
