A Chance To Own A Rimac Nevera Time Attack

For a time, the Nevera was the fastest electric production car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife by clocking a time of seven minutes and 5.298 seconds. The company celebrated the achievement by announcing a limited run of 12 Time Attack special editions. The company sold out of them before even making the model’s public announcement.

One of the dozen Nevera Time Attack editions is now up for auction, and this is the only one available in the United States. The starting bid is $700,000, and the sale ends on December 19, 2024, at 5:15 PM EST.

“The Nevera Time Attack is a limited edition that celebrates the achievements of the past year, wearing a bespoke livery inspired by the car that set each of them,” said Rimac Founder and CEO Mate Rimac in the model’s announcement.

For the Time Attack edition, customers could choose between a body in Squadron Black or bare carbon fiber and add highlight colors such as Rimac Racing Red and Stiniva E-Blue. The example for sale has Lightning Green accents along the lower body sills and stripes on the roof. The underside of the rear wing has the cheeky message: “Dedicated to those coming after us.”

The special models all feature black Alcantara upholstery with accents that match the body’s bright color. In this case, there are green highlights on the seats and door panels.

A Nevera With Expensive Options

One of the most fascinating things about this listing is that the seller, Graham Rahal Performance, lists the options for this Nevera Time Attack and the original cost for them. The Time Attack livery alone was 120,000 euros or about $126,000 at current exchange rates, and the metallic paint finish was an additional $10,500. Carbon Level 2 Package added $84,000 to this Nevera’s price. The dual Alcantara interior upgrade was about $26,000.

This Nevera Time Attack also comes with all of the original factory literature, the window sticker, tool kit, car cover, battery charger, and two key fobs. Magazine articles about this car are also part of the collection.

TopSpeed’s Take

The Nevera is a rare sight, especially in the United States. The fact that this one is a limited-run Time Attack edition makes the car even more special. If you have $700,000 or more burning a hole in your pocket, there are worse things to spend the money on.
