Lucid is back with another big swing—this time at the heart of the luxury SUV segment. At the 2025 LA Auto Show, the electric automaker has unveiled the Gravity Touring, a new entry in its electric SUV lineup designed to capture buyers who want full-size capability without six-figure pricing. At $79,900, the Touring is now Lucid’s most accessible three-row SUV, and the company is positioning it as the EV that finally blends practicality, performance, and long-range confidence into one clean-sheet package.

Lucid Believes The Gravity Touring Is Unrivaled In The EV Market

Marc Winterhoff, Lucid’s interim CEO, puts it bluntly: “There’s not another SUV in its segment that can deliver the combination of range, interior space, and driving performance found in the Lucid Gravity Touring.” That’s classic Lucid bravado, but this time the numbers seem to back it up. The Touring borrows the same platform and high-efficiency DNA from the pricier Gravity Grand Touring, but packages it in a way that opens the door to a wider audience—families who want space, commuters who want range, and EV newcomers who might’ve skipped Lucid in the past simply because the entry point was too steep.

Lucid Gravity Touring Powerplant

Power comes from a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup producing up to 560 horsepower and a 0–60 time of about 4.0 seconds—respectably quick for a seven-seat family shuttle. A standard air suspension promises a smooth ride, while an optional Dynamic Handling Package offers a sharper, more athletic feel for drivers who think an electric SUV should still be fun to pilot.

Under the floor sits an 89-kWh battery pack good for an EPA-estimated 337 miles of range when equipped with the 20/21-inch wheel combo. Charging tech remains one of Lucid’s strongest selling points, and the Gravity Touring doubles down: it can pull up to 300 kW at 1000-volt DC fast chargers, adding 200 miles in roughly 15 minutes. More importantly, for real-world ownership, the SUV is fully native to Tesla’s NACS standard, granting access to more than 25,000 Superchargers across North America. Even better, Lucid’s proprietary rear motor can “boost” a standard 500-volt Supercharger to match the Gravity’s higher battery voltage, enabling up to 220 kW speeds on stations that typically restrict other EVs.

Inside The New Lucid Looks Insane

Inside, Lucid continues its formula of minimalist luxury mixed with futuristic tech. The Clearview Cockpit returns—a 34-inch curved 6K OLED display that wraps around the driver like a panoramic command center. Lucid UX 3.0 supports over-the-air updates, which means the SUV’s software experience should evolve long after it leaves the factory. Optional DreamDrive 2 Pro adds 32 sensors’ worth of advanced driver-assist capability.

Practicality remains front and center, too. Buyers can configure the SUV with five or seven seats, with up to 120 cubic feet of cargo space in the two-row layout. Six exterior colors and wheel options ranging from 20 to 23 inches allow for either the subtle Stealth Appearance package or the brighter Platinum look.

More Gravity Touring To Come

The Touring will take center stage at the LA Auto Show from November 21–30, where showgoers can also see the Grand Touring and the ultra-performance Lucid Air Sapphire. Demo drives will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, signaling Lucid’s eagerness to get butts in seats and cement its place as an EV brand capable of more than headline-grabbing specs.

With the Gravity Touring, Lucid is making its most confident play yet: a luxury electric SUV priced within reach, engineered without compromise, and aimed squarely at becoming the new default choice for EV-curious families.
