The KTM 390 Adventure just got a massive overhaul, and the R variant is making all the right kind of headlines. But with the ADV segment growing each year, it will soon get a new rival in the US. We’re talking about the Moto Morini Alltrhike that’s just been type-approved in the US under a different name. Let’s dive into it.
Moto Morini Will Bring Its New Alltrhike Adventure Bike To America For The 2026 Model Year
The news comes straight from the documents submitted to the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration. These include a new-for-2026 Vettore model, armed with the same 449cc parallel-twin that powers the Alltrhike. It’s also listed alongside the already confirmed X-Cape 700 and X-Cape 1200 models, suggesting the Vettore is a renamed version of the ADV.
It’s not a surprise, either, since ‘Alltrhike’ isn’t an easy name to understand, and we have seen Chinese bikemakers use different names in the US before (CFMoto 450MT is Ibex 450 here). Another reason that helps our assumption is that there’s no other motorcycle that uses this engine as of now.
Moto Morini’s New Adventure Bike Has Long-Travel Suspension And A Punchy Parallel-Twin
So what’s on offer with the Vettore? Well, plenty. Firstly, its heart is a 449cc, parallel-twin engine that’s good for 44 horsepower and 32 pound-feet via a six-speed transmission. It’s enough for a claimed top speed of 96 miles per hour. That is right in the ballpark of the KTM 390 Adventure R and CFMoto Ibex 450. Next up is a set of off-road-ready underpinnings.
KYB long-travel USD forks and monoshock (with 8.2 and 7.5 inches of travel, respectively) join hands with 21/18-inch spoke wheels. This is topped with switchable ABS for the brakes (320 mm front disc and 255 mm single disc), so you can slide around as you like. These off-road abilities don’t come at the cost of seat height, either. At 33 inches, this should be manageable for most folks.
Last but not least, the Vettore (or Alltrhike) spoils you with several modern niceties. A TFT is the centerpiece in the cockpit, which brings smartphone connectivity and an intuitive navigation system. Elsewhere, you have an adjustable windscreen, USB ports, LED lights, and, our favorite, a center stand. The latter can be a life-saver in off-road terrain.
