We’ve been waiting patiently, and Royal Enfield has finally rewarded us well. The Guerrilla 450 has just entered the American market, serving as the sportiest offering you can buy from the Indian brand. We already know it’s a proven package since it’s been on sale everywhere else for quite some time, but we’re glad to report that a staggering price sweetens the deal further for American fans. Let’s dive in.

Royal Enfield Has Priced The Guerrilla 450 At Under $5,500

With the whole tariff situation, motorcycles are getting pricier and pricier. Yet, RE has somehow managed to price the Guerrilla 450 at a competitive $5,299. That price makes it almost $1,000 more expensive than the Hunter 350, while being $1,000 less than the Interceptor 650. At the same time, it’s $700 less than the Himalayan 450. Competition-wise, the GRR is right in the mix. It’s just $4 pricier than the Triumph Speed 400, while being cheaper than the KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Z500, and CFMoto 450NK.

Sweetening the pot are three color options. There’s something for everyone, whether you like things simple or loud. What bums us out, though, is the fact that RE hasn’t given us the full suite here. For example, India gets twice as many colors as the US.

The Guerrilla 450 Has A Himalayan-Derived 452cc Engine

What’s different elsewhere, you ask? Nothing. And that’s because this is already a brand-new motorcycle. In fact, it is only RE’s second liquid-cooled motorcycle yet. Credit for that goes to the 452cc, single-cylinder powerhouse. It’s good for around 40 horsepower and 30 pound-feet, all sent to the wheel via a six-speed transmission. That’s the same output as the Himmy, although this should be faster since the weight is 27 pounds less.

The weight is lower thanks to some underpinning changes. USD forks make way for telescopic units here, and spoke wheels are replaced by smaller cast alloys. Beefy 120/160-section rubber, single disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS round off the package.
