From kids to adults, Lego appeals to people of all age groups. The toy is a creative outlet, whether someone is building a kit from the directions or just snapping bricks together. The company has adapted to its adult audience in recent decades by creating models of architectural wonders and high-end automobile brands such as Ferrari and McLaren.

Lego now caters to Fast and the Furious fans by introducing a kit depicting the neon pink Honda S2000 from a chase scene in 2 Fast 2 Furious. The character Suki, as represented by Devon Aoki, races this car against an A80 Toyota Supra, an FD Mazda RX-7, and an R34 Nissan GT-R in the movie.

Affordable Fun

The pink S2000 Lego kit doesn’t go on sale until June 1, 2025, but is available for pre-orders now. At $26.99, the model is reasonably affordable. The car consists of 300 pieces, and the company recommends it for builders who are at least nine years old. The completed Honda measures 6.5 inches longer, 2.5 inches wide, and 1.5 inches tall.

The exterior features a blocky take on the S2000’s smooth lines, with a front and rear that’s far blunter than the production vehicle. The neon pink color and the decals match the movie, though. Honda logos adorn the nose and tail. The kit comes with a driver minifigure, but it doesn’t look much like Aoki’s character in the movie.

Inside, there are pink seats and decals depicting the gauges. As in the movie, there’s a video screen on the passenger side. Adding the minifigure behind the wheel completes the look.

If you’re not familiar with modern Lego kits, they are easier than ever to assemble. The company has a Builder app that walks folks through the step-by-step process of putting the pieces together.

The S2000 In 2 Fast 2 Furious

In case you’re not familiar with the 2 Fast 2 Furious race with the S2000, the video above shows the below. The Suki character’s Honda is far from stock. In addition to the body kit, it has a tonneau cover on the rear deck behind the seats and a prominent wing.

Suki’s S2000 is mostly in last place during the race but has a competitive run against the RX-7. After the Toyota wrecks and the Mazda driver refuses to jump a bridge, she ends up in second place behind the star, Paul Walker.

If you want to re-create this race on your table, Lego also has a recently announced model of the R34 Skyline GT-R from the movie. The kit comes out April 24 for $24.99 and has 319 pieces. It’s also for builders who are nine or older.

The S2000’s Legacy

The Honda S2000 debuted for the 2000 model year as a spiritual successor to the much earlier S600 and S800. Enthusiast drivers quickly accepted the model because of its nimble chassis and 2.0-liter engine with a 9,000-rpm redline. Later versions received a 2.2-liter powerplant with more torque but max revs at 8,200 rpm. A six-speed manual was the only available gearbox throughout the production run.

Currently, Hagerty values the 2000-2003 models in good condition at $25,200 and the 2004-2009 examples at $29,500. The rare CR variant with a standard tonneau cover and wing goes for $56,800.

TopSpeed’s Take

Lego kits are fun, especially at this price point. For $26.99, the S2000 kit should take about an hour to build, and the eye-popping shade should make the car grab attention on your bookshelf. 2 Fast 2 Furious is arguably not the best movie in the franchise. Still, it provides nostalgic fun, especially some of the special effects.
